The Klima Foundation serves a very clear purpose. It is meant to protect our environment, especially by mitigating the impacts of climate change and reducing the speed and rate of change. Sustainable and responsible behaviour towards people, the whole community and the environment is the first step in this direction and, to this end, the foundation encourages everyone to take prompt green action as the situation is rapidly deteriorating.
To this end, and also to ensure that it is constantly updated, the foundation can foster research activities, data analysis and studies on environmental issues, in particular regarding air and its components. Studies may also be presented at conferences, seminars and meetings of the foundation, which may collect contributions to finance them and award scholarships and prizes to promote attention and awareness on the topics it deals with.
At the same time, in order to extend its positive global impact, the foundation can cooperate with similar organisations, foundations, research institutes and bodies whose purpose is aligned and synergetic with that of the foundation, while maintaining transparency and fairness.
The foundation's added value lies in the interaction of environmental issues with new technologies, as it undertakes the development and open-source adoption of blockchain-related technologies and software, research into DAOs or open-source software, and any system that promotes the aforementioned environmental purposes.
